The hotel is the ideal base for trips to vineyards and wineries in the Veneto region, which is highly renowned for its outstanding food and wine. It is also a hugely popular destination among cyclists and other sports enthusiasts from all over the world due to the spectacular natural landscape all around it. A wealth of artistic and cultural sites can be found in the local area, including the Palladian Villas and Antonio Canova's Temple.
You can spend your days unwinding as you explore the Palladian Villas and vineyards of Prosecco, savoring the beguiling views and the sunshine in the “garden of Venice”. Alternatively, you could indulge in a little sport or treat yourself to a massage before settling in on the terrace as evening draws in for some sundowners or a delicious dinner by candlelight.

You will feel like pampered guests of a prosperous friend in the Asolo Hills, but with all of the sophisticated facilities and high service standards of a prestigious, 5-star boutique hotel. Albergo Al Sole's brightly lit rooms have breathtaking views and include top notch service, free wifi, air-conditioning, smart TV's and even Netflix.
Albergo Al Sole Hotel is proud to present “La Terrazza” restaurant, a meeting place for international clientele, and veritable outdoor sitting room overlooking the historical center of Asolo with delicious Italian cuisine.
Informal but at the same time relaxed and romantic; La Terrazza's chef loves spotlighting traditional products which are all carefully selected to create innovative cuisine. The a la carte menu offers ingredients of the highest quality from fresh fish to meat; available also a vegetarian based menu.
In addition, there are several other local restaurants in the town of Asolo to explore.

The passion and the experience from our Italian chef will guide you through your discovery of true Italian cooking as well as little tricks to take home with you, and to have fun while impressing your guests with excellent results! The show cooking experience includes: the creation of a typical Italian menu by our chef and his assistants; complete recipes (also in English) which you can take home with you to test your skills in your own kitchen. At the end of the lesson, a scrumptious dinner with wine and spirits will leave you feeling satiated and infused with the spirit of Italy.

Daily yoga classes will take place at the exclusive and stunning Albergo Al Sole. Taught by Certified Yoga Instructor Shannon Baker, classes will be tailored for all abilities and needs. From beginners to the more experienced, the goal is for all to benefit from balancing body and mind. More than sightseeing, this Soulfeast Retreat will return you home having had a soul connection with the magic of Italy. We will practice Yoga daily with workshops and meditations to develop tools for mindfulness practices and meditation to incorporate into your daily life to destress and to live more fully and present in each moment.
palladian villas
Albego Al Sole is ideally located to visit two of the most famous Palladian Villas, Villa Barbaro and Villa Emo. Both villas are UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITES and two attractions in the Veneto region you won't want to miss.
venice walking tour
Just an hour away from Asolo is the legendary city of Venice. We will meet our local guide in Piazzale Roma for a customized tour of this iconic city. You will be provided plenty of time to explore the magnificent sights, sounds, smells and food of Venice. As they say, "Wherever you are in Venice is exactly where you want to be."
prosecco bike tour and wine tasting
The Veneto region is world famous for its wine, particularly Prosecco, local sparkling white wine - and what better way to explore the wineries and trattorias than by bicycle. This area also produces red wines, such as merlot, cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon. Our bike tour is customized according to your needs: difficulty level, length of course and slopes. Local wineries are open for tastings, tours and wine sales. Many of these wineries are close to each other with the opportunity to spend the day immersed in local tradition and the discovery of beautiful places. The vineyards from which these fine bubbles are born extend from the hills of Asolo to Valdobbiadene and Conegliano.
montegrappa
Just a 30-minute drive from Asolo, is Monte Grappa. Following one of the trails leading to the top of the mountain, you will be taken aback by breathtaking scenery and can visit the historic monument to the soldiers of the First World War. Lunch is served in a local "Malga" (a farmhouse typical to the area) where the owners serve the simple local food such as cheese, cold meats and homemade pasta. Once you have reached the top of Monte Grappa you can visit the monument to the soldiers of the First World War.
